What We Do

We are an information centre with a wide range of literature from all the different MS organisations and other organisations.  We are happy to help with form filling and will try to find whatever you are looking for.  There is free access to the Internet, with help and guidance if needed, which will enable you to surf for your own information if you prefer.  If you need help liaising with other agencies (e.g. occupational therapy, workplace, or social services) we will be happy to help.

The Centre is open to anyone with MS, their friends and families (and to those with other neurological conditions).  This is regarded as a very important aspect.  Chatting to people who understand over a coffee can often help to solve problems or resolve a crisis.  If you wish to speak to someone privately, this can be arranged if you phone ahead.  We like to ensure a welcome for everyone and pride ourselves on the friendly atmosphere you will find here.

Office opening times are 9:00am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday

Appointment times are 8:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

These are provided by qualified therapists who understand MS, at prices which are subsidised by fund-raising.  Currently available are:

Opportunities to volunteer

Whatever your skills – administrative, mechanical, publicity, musical, artistic, driving or just a willing pair of hands – we can use your help at the Centre. Are you able to help with store collections or jumble sales or if you would like to train as an oxygen chamber operator, there will be a role for you. Please contact our centre manager Rachael Mason if you are interested in volunteering.
